“Showing dogs” is a relatively small part of their lives here, running free and enjoying life is their greatest joy as you can see from the photos above. We pride ourselves on the temperament and loving natures of our dogs. They are not kennelled but live in heated stables (purpose built) and all come in to our house from time to time. They have free access to a four acre wood/paddock and are exercised in our 12 acres of ground.
James has been a member of the Kennel Club since 1981. We have both served on Breed Club Committees in the UK. James was Vice Chairman of the South of England Irish Setter Club in the 80’s and Chairman of the ISBC between 1997 and 2000 and has written articles and breed notes for Dog World. We both judge Irish Setters at CC level. James judged Crufts in 2005.
